| Description | Sample Type: Serum and plasma Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of human lambda immunoglobulin light chain (l-IgLC) concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 0.021ug/ml Range: 0.039-10ug/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human l-IgLC. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human l-IgLC and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with l-IgLC. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for l-IgLC. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated l-IgLC and l-IgLC in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of l-IgLC in the samples. The color development is stopped |
