| Product Name | CXCL17, Recombinant, Human, aa22-119, His-Tag (Chemokine (C-X-C Motif) Ligand 17) |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 17, also known as CXCL17, is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. CXCL17 is a 119aa secreted protein that plays a role in angiogenesis. CXCL17 is expressed in skeletal muscle, trachea, lung, intestine and stomach, and is upregulated in duodenal mucosa of patients with acute cholera, as well as breast tumors. CXCL17 is considered a housekeeping chemokine for the movement of immature dendritic cells and non activated blood monocytes into tissues, and is thought to be involved in the innate immune response. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa22-119 from human CXCL17 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~13.7kD (119aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
