| Description | Antigen: human 15-LO-2 amino acids 161-179 • Host: rabbit • Species Reactivity: (+) Human 15-Lipoxygenase-2; • Cross Reactivity: (−) rabbit reticulocyte 15-LO-1 and porcine leukocyte 12-LO-1 • Applications: ICC, IHC, and WB • 15-LO-2 oxygenates C15 of arachidonic acid to produce 15(S)-HETE. Expression of 15-LO-2 appears to be restriced to prostate, lung, skin, and cornea and may play a role in the normal development of these tissues. |
