| Description | NCR1 / NKP46 Antibody LS-C44705. Recognizes the human natural cytotoxicity receptor CD335, also known as NKp46. NKp46 is expressed on circulating NK cells and is reported to be a novel NK-specific cell surface molecule that is involved in human NK cell activation. Natural killer (NK) cells contribute to the innate immune response by directly lysing a variety of tumor cells and cells that are infected by viruses. Natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCR) are a family of Ig-like activation receptors that are reported to play an important role in tumor cell recognition. Three NCR have been reported to-date, which include NKp46, NKp30 and NKp44. The ligands for these NCR have not been identified |
