| Description | SLC18A2 / VMAT2 Antibody (aa502-515) LS-C18507. Recognizes rat VMAT2. Recognizes monoaminergic neurons of the CNS, the ECL-cells of the stomach, as well as enteric nerve fibers. Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining. Species cross-reactivity: Guinea pig (in fundus tissue, only positive on nerve fibers; endocrine cells are negative); most mammals including human, canine, mouse, hamster, as well as chicken and frog. Negative with porcine intestinal tissue. |
