| Product Name | SERPINL1, Recombinant, Human |
| Description | Purity ≤ 96% by SDS PAGE and HPLC analysis. SerpinI1, otherwise known as Neuroserpin, is an axonally secreted serine protease inhibitor and member of the Serpin family, predominantly expressed in the brain, which binds to and inactivates plasminogen activators and plasmin. The expression of SerpinI1 during the late stages of embryonic neurogenesis, suggests SerpinI1 may play a role in the formation or reorganization of synaptic connections, and is implicated as a regulator of proteases involved in neuronal migration and synaptic plasticity. Source: Purified recombinant SerpinI1 expressed in E.coli Activity: Determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of rat C6 cells using a concentration range of 0.3-0.6ug/ml. Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. |
