| Description | Purity >98% by HPLC. Potent and selective vanilloid TRPV1 antagonist. It is a competitive antagonist of Capsaicin activation (IC50 = 24.5 nM; human TRPV1). It blocks all known modes of TRPV1 activation, including protons (IC50 = 92.7 nM; human TRPV1), heat (IC50 = 15.8 nM; human TRPV1) and endogenous ligands, such as Anandamide, N-Arachidonoyldopamine and Oleoyldopamine. Also blocks Capsaicin-evoked depolarization and Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide release in cultures of rat dorsal root ganglion primary neurons. |
