| Description | Purity ≥98%. Purified by Gel filtration, Ion-exchange and affinity chromatography. The estimated concentration of an individual Myeloma protein may vary considerably depending on the assay method used. Myeloma protein concentration is therefore measured by radial immunodiffusion and optical density (A280nm). Purified human immunoglobulin may be used as a reference antigen, calibrator, coating protein and blocking agent in a variety of immunoassays including immunodiffusion, immuno- electrophoresis, ELISA, Western blotting, dot-immunobinding assays (DIBA), hemagglutination, and cell-binding assays. Applications: Suitable for use as a reference antigen, calibrator, coating protein and blocking agent in Immunoelectrophoresis, Double RID, ELISA, Western Blot, Haemagglutination and cell-binding assays. Other applications have not been tested. |
