In cells expressing Oct4 with Sox2; Klf4; and c-Myc; OAC1 (1 muM) enhances reprogramming efficiency by increasing the rate of production of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from embryonic fibroblasts. OAC1 also upregulates mRNA expression of Oct-4; Sox-2 and Nanog; as well as Tet1. |
