| Description | CD163 Antibody (clone Ki-M8) LS-C96217. The antigen is CD163, the epitope has not been further characterized. Antigen distribution: Isolated cells: Monocytes in bone marrow and peripheral blood, macrophages. Ki-M8 is negative with other leucocytes. Tissue sections: Ki-M8 detects phagocytic macrophages in most tissues. It is also positive with epithelial cells and malignant histiocytosis. Starry sky macrophages of lymphoids are negative. Specificity: Human: monocytes and macrophages. Other: not tested. |
