Serum levels of CTRP1 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models and in hypertensive patients compared to normal controls. CTRP1 may be a new molecular link between obesity and hypertension. Sequence: The globular domain of human CTRP1 (aa 132-281) is fused at the C-terminus to a FLAG®-tag. |
