Recombinant Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7813 Daltons. Sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Gln-Val-Gly-Thr. Dimers and Aggregates: ≤ 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Biological Activity: Murine Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The Activity is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Human T lymphocytes at 1.0-10.0ng/ml. Endotoxin: ≤ 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Recombinant Human MIP-4.
