| Description | Rituximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of diseases characterized by abnormal or excessive B cells. Rituximab targets CD20, which is expressed on the surface of B cells, to target B cells for destruction by other parts of the immune system. Intended Use: The Rituximab BioAssay™ ELISA kit is a quantitative method that has been developed and optimized for pharmacokinetic assessment of EDTA-plasma, heparin-plasma and serum samples. It has been designed to measure Rituximab with high specificity and enhanced sensitivity. The assay design utilizes a pair of antibodies that allows the detection of the whole Rituximab molecule in biological matrices. This kit is intended for research use only and cannot be used for clinical diagnostic purposes. Detection Range: 250-5000ng/ml Detection Limit: 5ng/ml Specificity: hIgG1 and Infliximab prepared at 250ng/ml were assayed and exhibited no cross-reactivity or interference.
