| Description | Purity >98% by HPLC. Selective synthetic hexapeptide antagonist for the N-formyl peptide chemoattractant receptor FPRL1 (IC50 = 0.23 µM) and FPRL2. Inhibits intracellular calcium release induced by WKYMVm, MMK-1, amyloid Beta42, and F peptide. Also blocks chemotactic migration and superoxide generation by amyloid Beta42 peptide and inhibits FPRL1-mediated signaling in human neutrophils. Recently it specifically inhibited F2L-induced intracellular calcium increase and chemotactic migration in mature monocyte-derived dendritic cells, which express FPRL2 but not the other FPR family. |
