| Description | Purity ≥ 95% after Sephadex G-10 chromatography in 10% acetic acid. Suitable as a substrate for Akt/PKB when used in conjunction with immunoprecipitated Akt/PKB and may also be phosphorylated by other protein kinases, including Rsk-2. Applications: Assay: Crosstide substrate peptide was phosphorylated using Akt/Protein Kinase B immunoprecipitated with 4ug a-Akt1/PKBa, PH domain from 1mg of L6 cells stimulated with 15nM IGF-1. The a-Akt/Protein G-Agarose/enzyme immunocomplex was then incubated with 30uM of Crosstide in the presence of radiolabeled [g-32P]ATP, 32P-labeled. |
