| Product Name | PPIL3, Recombinant, Human, aa1-161, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 3 in humans is encoded by the PPIL3 gene. This gene encodes a member of the cyclophilin family. Cyclophilins catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of peptidylprolyl imide bonds in oligopeptides. They have been proposed to act either as catalysts or as molecular chaperones in protein-folding events. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-161 from human PPIL3, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~20.3kD (181aa, aa1-161 + NT His Tag) Specific Activity: >280nmoles/min/mg, defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1umole of suc-AAFP-pNA/minute at 25°C in Tris-HCl pH 8.0 using chymotrypsin.
