| Product Name | PPIL2, Recombinant, Human, aa1-527, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 2 in humans is encoded by the PPIL2 gene. This gene is a member of the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases. The cyclophilins are a highly conserved ubiquitous family, members of which play an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV-1 virions. This protein interacts with the proteinase inhibitor eglin c and is localized in the nucleus. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-527 from human PPIL2, fused to His-tag, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~61.6kD (547aa, aa1-527 + His Tag) Specific Activity: >290nmoles/min/mg, defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1umole of Suc-AAFP-pNA/minute at 25°C in Tris-HCl pH 8.0 using chymotrypsin.
