| Product Name | PPIL4, Recombinant, Human, aa1-492, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). PPIL4 is an evolutionarily conserved member of the cyclophilin-type PPIase family of proteins. Ubiquitously expressed with predominant expression in kidney, PPIL4 localizes to the nucleus and contains one PPIase cyclophilin-type domain, a lysine-rich domain, a pair of bipartite nuclear targeting sequences and one RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain. The presence of the RRM domain along with nuclear targeting sequences suggests that PPIL4 may be involved in transcriptional regulation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-492 from human PPIL4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~59.4kD (512aa, aa1-492 NT + His Tag) Specific Activity: >190nmoles/min/mg, defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1umole of Suc-AAFP-pNA/minute at 25°C in Tris-HCl pH 8.0 using chymotrypsin.
