Has no interleukin-1 like activity. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 153aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17kD (153aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant inhibition of IL-1 stimulation of D10S cells was found to be 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 2x10e6IU/mg.
