| Description | B lymphocyte chemoattractant, independently cloned and named Angie, is a CXC chemokine strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyers patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (compared to T cells and macrophages), apparently by stimulating calcium influx into, and chemotaxis of, cells expressing Burkitts lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1). It may therefore function in the homing of B lymphocytes to follicles. Sample Type: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates. Sensitivity: 0.039ng/ml Range: 0.156-10ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: |
