| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Human BAFF is a newly discovered novel ligand of the TNF family. BAFF plays an important role as costimulator of B cell proliferation and function. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human B Cell Activating Factor, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 153aa expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17kD (153aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using anti-IgM stimulated mouse B cells.
