| Description | ImmunoTek™ DAB Buffer, 10X For use with DAB Staining System for HRPO 3,3'-diaminobenzidine (DAB) is the most common reagent employed for ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) labeled probes. In the presence of HRP and hydrogen peroxide, DAB is oxidized to a brown polymer easily recognized by light microscopy. This polymer is insoluble in in most organic solvents. DAB Buffer (10X) (Tris-citrate) is for use with DAB Stable Liquid Substrate (50X), a staining System for HRPO. |
