| Description | Purity ≥95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC Endotoxin: ≤0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 (FGF10) is a heparin binding growth factor that belongs to the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF10 is most related to KGF/FGF-7 and is expressed during development and preferentially in adult lungs. It signals through FGFR2b. Human FGF10 is a 19.3kD protein containing 170 amino residues. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF-receptors is ≤ 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a speci?c activity of ≥ 2x10e6 units/mg. |
