FGF-6 is a newly discovered heparin binding growth factor that stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express FGF receptors. Recombinant Human FGF-6 is a 18.7kD protein containing 168 amino residues. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF-receptors is ≤ ≤ 0.5 ng/ml, corresponding to a speci?c activity of ≥2 x10e6 units/mg. |
