| Description | Purity >95% by HPLC. Inhibitor of TNF-a processing (IC50 = 100 nM), similar to TAPI-0, but more stable in tissue culture and in vivo. Inhibits TACE and other metalloproteases. Blocks release of TNF- a (IC50 = 50-100 MM), APP (1-8 MM), IL6R (5- 10 MM), TNFRI (5 -10 MM), TNFRII (25 -50 MM), and ObRa (leptin receptor), but not CSF-1, from cells in culture. |
