| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). The APOBEC4 is a member of the AID/APOBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy)cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Other AID/APOBEC family members are involved in Mrna editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-367 from human APOBEC4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~44kD (390aa) Enzyme Activity: Not determined.
