| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of endogenic bovine vitamin A (VA) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 4.672ng/ml Range: 6.25-100ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of bovine VA. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between bovine VA and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to VA. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated VA. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP-conjugated VA and VA in samples.
