| Product Name | NRGN, Recombinant, Human, aa1-78, His-Tag (Neurogranin, Protein Kinase C Substrate) |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). NRGN, also known as Neurogranin, is a calmodulin-binding protein expressed exclusively in the brain, particularly in dendritic spines, and participating in the protein kinase C signaling pathway. This protein is the main postsynaptic protein regulating the availability of calmodulin, binding to it in the absence of calcium. Phosphorylation by protein kinase C lowers its binding ability. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-78 from human NRGN, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~10kD (101aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Amino Acid Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSMDCCTEN ACSKPDDDIL DIPLDDPGAN AAAAKIQASF RGHMARKKIK SGERGRKGPG PGGPGGAGVA RGGAGGGPSG D Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
