Control Peptide M(1)GETLGDSPIDPESDS(16)C (linear) for P5505-02 anti-PPARg2 (Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor, gamma 2) which detects peroxisome proliferator activated receptor (PPAR) gamma 2 from mouse tissues, but does not detect PPAR alpha or PPAR delta. Immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 1-16 from human PPAR gamma 2. This sequence is absent in PPAR gamma 1. The sequence is 16 amino acids and is is derived from human PPARg2; this sequence is absent in PPARg1. A COOH-terminal cysteine residue was added for conjugation to KLH.
