| Description | Lysate Preparation: Brain (cerebrum and cerebellum) was dissected from postnatal day 1 rats (Sprague Dawley). The tissue was rinsed in Hank's buffered saline solution and lysed in 1 % SDS 1.0mM sodium ortho-vanadate, i OmM Tris (pH 7.4) buffer. Brain Iysates were sonicated then protein concentration was determined using the BeA method (Pierce). The lysate was 1hen diluted to the final concentration in electrophoresis sample buffer. |
