| Description | Purity ~97% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Human GRO (also known as MGSA) promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. It also stimulates mitogenesis in certain human melanoma cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human GRO-alpha, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 73aa expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD (73aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration range of 10-50ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 2x10e4IU/mg.
