Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a species specific colony stimulating factor which stimulates colony formation of megakaryocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages from bone marrow cultures. Human IL-3 is a 15.0kDa protein containing 133 amino acid residues. Biological Activity: Human IL-3 is fully biologically active when compared to standards. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of TF-1 cells is 1.0x10e7 units/mg.
