| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Inhibits the synthesis of a number of cytokines, including IFN-gamma, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and by helper T-cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human Interleukin-10, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 161aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~18.6kD (161aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity Determined by the dose-dependent co-stimulation (with mouse IL-4) of MC/9 cells. The ED50 was found to be <2ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥5x10e5units/mg.
