Description | Antigen: Recombinant TLF protein • Host: Mouse, clone 14HH2-1H2 • Species reactivity: (+) Human and mouse histone H2 phosphorilated on Ser139 • Applications: ELISA, ICC, and WB • DNA double stand break (DSB) are leading to the early phosphorylation of histone H2AX. Phosphorylated γ-H2AX is the first step in the recruitment of the DNA repair protein at the foci site. They are consequently very good biomarkers of DSB as well as check point for cell cycle arrest following DSB. Measuring γ-H2AX phosphorylation has become a gold standard in DNA damage and repair for DSB events. |
