| Description | The United States Biological Lupine ELISA represents a highly sensitive detection system for lupine and is particularly capable of the quantification of residues in sausage, bakery products, potato products, ketchup and juices. Due to high cross-reactivity the test is suitable for the detection of all commonly used lupine species. Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of Lupine in food. Sensitivity: 0.2ppm Recovery (spiked samples): ~98%-113% Incubation Time: 60 min Test Principle: The United States Biological Lupine quantitative test is based on the principle of the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. An antibody directed against lupine proteins is bound on the surface of a microtiter plate. Lupine containing samples or standards are added to the wells of the microtiter plate. After 20 minutes incubation at room temperature, the wells are washed with diluted washing solution to remove unbound material.
