| Description | Sample Type: Serum and plasma Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of goat immunoglobulin G (IgG) concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 0.15ug/ml Range: 0.15-37.5ug/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of goat IgG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between goat IgG and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with IgG. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for IgG. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of IgG in samples.
