| Description | Sample Type: Serum and plasma Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of guinea pig immunoglobulin G (IgG) concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 62.5ug/ml Range: 62.5-1000ug/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of guinea pig IgG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between guinea pig IgG and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with guinea pig IgG. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for guinea pig IgG. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of guinea pig IgG in samples.
