| Product Name | FHIT, aa1-147, Recombinant, Human |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). FHIT (fragile histidine triad) is an enzyme that cleaves adenosine 5' PPP 5' A to yield AMP and ADP. FHIT gene encompasses the common fragile site FRA3B on chromosome 3. Alterations and deletions of the FHIT gene are strongly linked to the genesis and establishment of human tumors of the lung, cervix, breast, colon, stomach and pancreas. In normal cells, FHIT may act as a tumor suppressor. This protein physically associates with ubiquitin conjugating enzyme 9. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-147 of human FHIT 6x his tagged expressed in E.coli. AA Sequences: MSFRFGQHLI KPSVVFLKTE LSFALVNRKP VVPGHVLVCP LRPVERFHDL RPDEVADLFQ TTQRVGTVVE KHFHGTSLTF SMQDGPEAGQ TVKHVHVHVL PRKAGDFHRN DSIYEELQKH DKEDFPASWR SEEEMAAEAA ALRVYFQLEH HHHHH Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. |
