Possible tumor suppressor for specific tissues Alterations and deletions of the FHIT (Fragile Histidine Triad) gene are strongly linked to the genesis and establishment of human tumors of the lung, cervix, breast, colon, stomach, and pancreas. In normal cells, FHIT may act as a tumor suppressor. Recombinant FHIT shows a band at 43kD on SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel. Dimers and Aggregates: ≤ 1% as determined by coomassie blue SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Endotoxin: ≤ 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Human FHIT. |
